The world’s largest cruise ship, Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas, weighs more than 200,000 tons…..and floats. It’s all about keeping a ship’s density lower than that of the water it is riding up. And cruise ships do this rather handily – even with rock-climbing walls and ince skating rinks.
